YOUR FIRST DAY AT CAMPBELL HIGH SCHOOL
The first day at a new school can be daunting for many students. At Campbell High School we want every student to have a positive experience of school. In anticipation of this, staff are well prepared to support and guide students as they make the transition to high school.
In 2009, year 7 students will start school on Monday 2 February. Students who have not been previously enrolled at the school will also need to attend that day. Commencing at 9.00 am, students will assemble in the school hall. After a brief address from the Principal, year 7 students will remain in the hall and will be provided with an overview of the day - they will have the whole school to themselves!
New students in other year groups will go to the Library to complete their enrolments. Year 7 students will remain at school for the full day. However, all other new students will only be required to remain until their enrolment has been completed.
Year 7 students should bring:
• Note pad and pen
• Food for recess and lunch or money to buy food from the canteen
• Wear a watch to school to ensure they are punctual for class.
