Student Advancement
Our purpose is to value each child as a learner, a person, a community member and as a contributor to society. The school is committed to providing opportunities for students to value and develop knowledge, understanding and skills in all area of learning - the intellectual, technological, practical, social and physical and to gain confidence and pleasure in the process of learning.
Social Development
Sensitivity to and respect for the needs and rights of others is promoted as paramount. Mechanisms for student governance empower students to make informed judgements and to participate in the decision making processes of the school. Students' understanding of Australia's heritage, of intercultural differences cultural groups within our country and of their obligations to preserve and protect the global environment are developed and encouraged. The importance of health and fitness is promoted.
Campbell High School Core Values
The Campbell school community has identified five core values. At the centre are our students as everything we do is for their benefit. The model is relevant to all levels of our school community; student-student, student-teacher, teacher-parent. Through our pastoral care program, students have opportunities to understand what each of the values represent and how they can be demonstrated in their daily lives.
